What cookies are

Essential storage
Week of Tech uses local browser storage to remember your privacy choice. This is necessary to avoid showing the same consent request on every page. It does not identify you by name.
Cookieless first-party traffic analytics
Week of Tech uses a self-hosted analytics service for aggregate visits and page views. The browser contacts same-origin weekoftech.com analytics paths, and the service does not set analytics cookies.
Optional Google Analytics
If you select “Accept all” or enable Google Analytics in the settings dialog, Google Analytics is loaded for additional aggregate usage measurement. If you reject optional cookies, the Google Analytics script is not loaded and analytics storage remains denied.
Retailer and affiliate cookies
When you follow a product or retailer link, the destination site may use its own cookies or similar technologies. These may help attribute a qualifying purchase to the referring site. Week of Tech does not control those third-party technologies; review the retailer's privacy and cookie information for details.
